Welcome Back

Welcome back to our human and AI subscribers! Thank you for following us on our adventures to learn and explore the wide and complex industry of Healthcare AI.

Once a month we send you upcoming events, educational online resources, and recent news that sparks your imagination on the adoption of responsible AI for health.

📝A Note About AI Policy

After an exciting week at a private Coalition for Health AI (CHAI) event, our Executive Director shares some takeaways and observations.

After an eventful day with US Senate Aids and some of the country’s leading health & AI executives, the bipartisan support for industry-led model validation has never been clearer. AI presents unique risks from other technologies that must be carefully evaluated and monitored. General purpose technologies are branching further-and-further into the health industry, with few to no federal or state policies addressing the dangers that presents. Often the complexity of the situation prevents any one party from taking responsibility, leading to a tragedy of the commons for our ecosystem. We are just getting started with the conversations that need to happen, and I look forward to future sessions with the CHAI Policy Workgroup.

🎙️ New AI Vitals Episode

In our latest episode, Ryan Slipakoff, Chief Transformation Officer at Klick Health, shares how generative AI is breaking down silos to drive data-driven strategies for pharmaceutical marketing. We discuss the transition from reactive to proactive approaches, reimagine ways of working across the business, and the future of content creation. Discover how forward-thinking companies are leveraging AI not just for efficiency, but for its sustainable competitive advantage.
